Symptom


  • Cloud Identity Engine instance is activated .
  • When Setting up Cloud Directory (Step 11) and adding  Azure China Cloud Active Directory in the Cloud Identity Engine, it fails with error “Cannot fetch login url: Invalid Directory ID".

Environment


  • Cloud Identity Engine
  • Azure China Cloud Active Directory 

Cause


Azure AD China is currently not supported in Cloud Identity Engine.

Resolution


  1. Cloud Identity Engine working as expected.
  2. Azure AD China will be will be added in future. ETA unknown.
