Objective
To Upgrade VM Model when using PAYG (Pay as you go) license
Environment
- Azure
- VM-300
- Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) License.
Procedure
Pay-as-you-go Firewall model can be upgraded following below steps:
- Stop the instance
- Change the Virtual Machine size and CPU accordingly to PA model upgrading to.
- Start the instance.
A PAYG license applies a VM-Series capacity license based on the hardware allocated to the instance as mentioned on VM-Series Firewall Licenses for Public Clouds
