Objective


To install a container defender in each container runtimes

Environment


Prisma Cloud Compute Edition

Procedure


Before installing a container defender, you have to see which container runtime you use in your cluster environment.
If you don't know the container runtime, you would be able to see it using kubectl command.

(Ex.)
- Docker Engineimage.png
- containerd

1. Go to the [Compute] > [Manage] > [Defenders] > [Deploy] > [Defenders] page
2. Select each option following each step
3. Turn on/off the following option depending on your container runtime
   Option Name: Nodes use Container Runtime Interface (CRI), not Docker

4. Deploy the defender using the downloaded YAML/Helm file or installation script
