How can I update my user name on LIVE Community site?
Environment
CSP, LIVE Community
Answer
The username (First name, Last name) / display name on LIVE Community is synced to the data saved on Customer Support Portal (CSP).
As LIVE Community pulls all user information from CSP, you will change your data on CSP.
- Log in to CSP > My Profile and change your data.
- Log out of LIVE Comminity and CSP, delete cache and cookies.
- Log back to CSP > Resources > LIVE Community and verify that the new data is saved.
You will need to log back to LIVE Community from CSP so that the new data is saved on LIVE Community.
If you log in to LIVE Community directly, the data defaults back to the previous one, the new information is not saved.
