Can the console port be disabled on Palo Alto Firewalls to restrict access to non-network connections?

Environment


  • Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
  • All PAN-OS

Answer


  1. When FIPS mode is enabled, the console port disabled with no access to CLI. 
  2. In the non-FIPS mode, the console port cannot be disabled.
