GlobalProtect Message d’installation : Il y a un problème avec ce package Windows Installer

Symptom
Lors de la mise à niveau GlobalProtect de l’application vers une version supérieure, les utilisateurs Windows reçoivent le message d’erreur suivant :
Environment
- GlobalProtect app
- Client Windows 10
Cause
Ce problème se produit lorsque GlobalProtect la réponse reçoit une réponse refusée Access lors de l’exécution de la commande suivante pendant le processus d’installation :
C:\Program Files\Palo Alto Networks\GlobalProtect> PanVcrediChecker.exe -s Access is denied
Resolution
- La réponse serait vide indiquant que la commande a été exécutée avec succès pendant le processus d’installation ou lorsque GlobalProtect elle est déjà installée
- Il s’agit evident des journaux collectés en exécutant la commande suivante en tant qu’administrateur GlobalProtect :
msiexec /i "GlobalProtect64.msi" /norestart /l*v "C:\Users\%username%\Desktop\GP.log"
- Voici un extrait de la GP.log ci-dessus:

- Cet échec indique une certaine restriction du système d’exploitation Microsoft Windows
- Par conséquent, la solution à ce problème serait d’installer GlobalProtect l’application à partir du mode sans échec Windows ou de ré-imager la machine Windows
