Symptom
Beim Upgrade der GlobalProtect Anwendung auf eine höhere Version erhalten Windows-Benutzer die folgende Fehlermeldung:
Environment
- GlobalProtect app
- Windows 10-Client
Cause
Dieses Problem tritt auf, wenn GlobalProtect beim Ausführen des folgenden Befehls während des Installationsvorgangs die Antwort Zugriff verweigert empfangen wird:
C:\Program Files\Palo Alto Networks\GlobalProtect> PanVcrediChecker.exe -s Access is denied
Resolution
- Die Antwort wäre leer und zeigt an, dass der Befehl während des Installationsvorgangs erfolgreich ausgeführt wurde oder wenn GlobalProtect er bereits installiert ist.
- Dies stammt evident aus den Protokollen, die GlobalProtect durch Ausführen des folgenden Befehls als Administrator gesammelt wurden:
msiexec /i "GlobalProtect64.msi" /norestart /l*v "C:\Users\%username%\Desktop\GP.log"
