How to uninstall GlobalProtect Agent software completely in Windows

Objective
This is a general information relevant to the procedure to uninstall GP Agent software including the relevant registry keys and data for users in Windows client.
Environment
- GlobalProtect Agent for Windows
Procedure
- Disable WMI services : Run - services.msc - Windows Management Instrumentation(WMI) - stop the service.
- Delete the files under C:\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository
- Open "regedit" and delete "Palo Alto Networks" folder in following places:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software
- (if the same folder is present in any other user under HKEY_USERS)
- Uninstall GlobalProtect from Windows 'Program and Features' or 'Apps and Features'.
- Make sure that the virtual adapter in not present in the Network adapter settings.
- Make sure that the following folders are not present. If no, delete those folders.
- C:\Program Files\Palo Alto Networks\GlobalProtect
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Palo Alto Networks\GlobalProtect
- Reboot the machine.
- Reinstall GlobalProtect with admin privileges.
- Confirm that WMI service is running.
