Bridgecrew : Error while opening the Code Module on Prisma Cloud

Symptom


  • Unable to use Code security feature on Prisma Cloud
  • When trying to access Code security tab "Unauthorized page" or "something went wrong error" is seen.

Cause


Customer firewall's blocking underlying call to Bridgecrew URL

Note: Ensure that customer still has a valid license on Prisma Cloud for Bridgecrew

Resolution


  1. Prior to opening "Code" tab on Prisma Console, collect a HAR Trace  (See Additional Information on how to start a HAR trace)
  2. Keep the HAR Trace running until you see the Error page
  3. One should see a "403" within the HAR trace for any "bundle.js" calls reaching out to Bridgecrew domain (highlighted in red in the Screenshot below)
  4. Once you see a "403", right click the domain and open in new tab
  5. This new tab will notify you if the Org firewall is blocking the "Bridgecrew.cloud" domain
  6. If so, please whitelist this in the org firewall and try this again
