Device stuck in un-assigning state while trying to Delete a Site

Symptom


Device gets hung in Unassigning state

Environment


  • Prisma SD-WAN
  • ION devices

Cause


Due to network connection or configuration pushes the device might get stuck in un-assigning state while trying to un-assign the device from the site

Resolution


  1. Go to Devices. The device is stuck in Unassigning state.

  1. Click on Put the device back in the inventory and the device goes to unclaimed section.

  1. Go to the site and click Delete Site.
