How to Troubleshoot Slow Internet Connectivity Issues In Prisma SDWAN?

  • Prisma SD-WAN
  • ION Devices
  • Supported versions


Procedure


  1. Check the interface configuration on the UI.
  2. Check if the IP address and the default gateway are in the same subnet.

  1. Check the interface status on the User Interface. It should display "up". 
  2. Verify if the speed and  duplex settings match on both the sides.
  3. Login to the device, figure out the interface which you are troubleshooting.
  4. Ensure ARP entry is available on the device " inspect system arp interface" and try to ping the default gateway.
  5. If the default gateway ping succeeds then, try pinging some public address such as 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
  6. If all of the above succeeds, internet connectivity is working.
