Question


  1. What are the retry counts for the ServiceNow Alerts Notification and how frequently we sent them?
  2. Can we track the time stamp and payload for every retry attempt?

Answer


  1. When exception occurs, we send notifications to Retry Topic(Queue), where we make retry attempts in interval with back-off mechanism, e.g. 10 , 20 , 30 , 120 and 240 mins to send notification.
