Symptom
- Getting Error 'No suitable objects found for Validation' while Validating Bucket Path for AWS S3 Configuration in Prisma Cloud
Environment
- Prisma Cloud Enterprise Edition
- AWS
Cause
- There are no Latest Logs present in the destination Log path
- Storage Class for the S3 folder is NOT 'standard'
Resolution
- Prisma Cloud looks for the latest log/file entry in the log folder
- Ensure the latest logs are being pushed (within last 1 hour) for the bucket validation
- Ensure Flow Logs are configured for Hourly Partition and Custom Format
- Check if the Storage Class is 'Standard'. Currently, Prisma Cloud S3 log ingestion only supports 'Standard' Storage Class
Latest Flow Logs if not getting stored in the target S3 bucket (specifically the new bucket):
- Check whether the corresponding instance is running or not
- If not, start the instance and wait for ~30 mins
- Later, check whether the latest Flow Logs are written in the Target S3 bucket. Make sure the latest logs are being pushed(30 mins to 1 hour prior or latest) of the bucket validation
