Slow upload speed on Mac machines when connected to GlobalProtect

Symptom
- Mac users face drastic upload speed slowness when connected to Global protect.
- This issue does not cause any unexpected slowness in download speed.
- The affected setup is configured with the Endpoint Traffic Policy Enforcement feature.
Environment
- Prisma Access
- GlobalProtect 6.0.5
Cause
- Mac GP uses a Content Filter provider in network extension to scan the network packets. Refer to the Developer documentation.
- This content filtering works per packet, hence it needs to check each packet for large files during file transfer and cause a performance impact.
Resolution
- The issue is fixed under GPC-17740.
- Using the fixed versions 6.0.8, 6.1.2, and 6.2.1 (or later) will fix the issue.
- As a workaround, we can disable the Endpoint Traffic Policy Enforcement feature.
