Objective
To increase CPUs and Memory for panorama-HA hosted in ESXi Platform
Environment
- Panorama in HA
- Firewall in HA
- Supported PAN-OS
- ESXi platform
Procedure
- Power down the Passive Panorama from GUI.
- Power down the Active Panorama from GUI.
- Upgrade memory from ESXi console on both active and passive panorama.
- Power up the Active Panorama from EXSI.
- Check the memory upgrade size was reported correctly.
- Power up the Passive Panorama from EXSI.
- Memory upgrade size was reported correctly.
- Check the HA state, make sure it in synchronized state.
Note: To Verify the platform memory use, the CLI command "show system state | match cfg.platform.memory"
