Symptom

Commit on Panorama fails with validation error

Server error: Commit job was not queued. Client logd not connected. All daemons are not available

Configd logs (less mp-log configd.log) display bigger configuration file size

+0530 config for client logd is 277014102 bytes long
+0530 Error: _pan_mgmt_client_send_phase1(pan_cfg_commit_jobs.c:1734): modify failed: SERIALIZATION
+0530 Error: pan_mgmt_client_table_do_phase1(pan_cfg_commit_jobs.c:2964): Management server failed to send phase 1 to client logd

Configuration size

Cause

Configuration size exceeds the expected value.
In different modes in panorama, recommended configuration size varies.
If the configuration size exceeds then the errors are displayed.

Resolution

Reduce the configuration size to the recommended value documented here
On the Virtual Panorama , one can add more CPU and memory if it is below the recommended value.
