User Activity Report contains 'b' letter as starting in all the output fields present in the report.

Symptom


  • Generate PDF Reports by: GUI:  Monitor > PDF Reports > User Activity Report > (Input the parameters).
  • Set the time period and it set to custom time.
  • Click on Run Now to generate the report.
  • Download the User activity report once the report is generated.
  • The user activity report shows the starting letter with 'b' on all the output present in the report.

Cause


Software issue.

Resolution


  1. The issue is fixed under PAN-197563  in PAN-OS versions 10.2.4 and 11.0.0
  2. Upgrade should fix the issue.
