- What does ‘Data Ingestion in Progress’ mean?
- Is there anything happening in the background when it says ‘Data Ingestion in Progress’ ?
- Is there anything else we need to do (or have missed) after connecting with the tenant?'

- What does ‘Data Ingestion in Progress’ mean?
- “Data Ingestion in Progress“ is just an info pop up and shows up as an interim state for informational reasons. This shows up when there is no data for the current view. This is on Compliance, Asset Inventory, Alerts Overview and Investigate page.
- So if data is ingested, they will not see this pop up in Investigate page, but they can continue to see this in Alerts overview, Asset Inventory and Compliance.
- Is there anything happening in the background when it says ‘Data Ingestion in Progress’ ?
- When there are alerts generated, this will stop showing in Alerts Overview.
- When Asset snapshot is generated, it will stop showing in Asset Inventory. The same for Compliance overview.
- Is there anything else we need to do (or have missed) after connecting with the tenant?'
- Basically this is just a check and reminder to ensure that customer has everything configured, like alert rules etc. it's not an error but a kind of alert. If the customer sees this message for many days, it means they might not have ingestion working or alert rules configured etc.
