Cloud Identity agent configured with proxy fails to communicate

Symptom


  • The communication fails only when a proxy is configured on the Cloud Identity Agent application per the Admin Guide.
  • Direct or system-wide proxy communication is successful.
  • Cloud Identity Engine Directory Sync status is “Sync failed”.
  • Errors found by the CloudAgentDebug.log (Steps to collect): 
    WinHttpSendRequest failed with 12007
    Application failed with error: 0
    Failed to upgrade to websocket


Environment


  • Cloud Identity agent version 1.7.1


Resolution


Install the latest Cloud Identity Agent version (1.8.0 or above)

Additional Information


Update the Cloud Identity Agent
