Commit on Panorama fails with error: "You need to assign a default VSYS to current template first"

Symptom
- When using only a single virtual-sys in the panorama and the firewall, vsys1 is configured as default.
- But while selecting a single virtual-sys mode in the panorama, the virtual system tab under the device tab is not accessible.
- When commit is issued with single VSYS, it fails with error: "You need to assign a default VSYS to current template first"
- Using the dropdown to select "Multi-vsys", the "Virtual System" option is seen.
Environment
- Any Panorama
- PAN-OS 10.2.x
- Multi Vsys configuration
Cause
The imported Firewall settings is configured for "multi vsys"
Resolution
- Select the "Device" tab on Panorama
- Under "mode" on the right side of device tab, Use the dropdown select "Multi-Vsys"
- Commit the configuration. The error message should not be seen anymore.
