System logs incorrectly report that connection to updates server completed successful while it wasn't

Symptom

In system log we observed that “connection to update server: updates.paloaltonetworks.com completed successfully” on a firewall with no update server settings and no internet connection.
The issue observed is demonstrated below

-Without any configuration firewall is triggering a update server connection every often and below article describes that it is to check critical content messages.

-Checked in the “get_content_issue_msg.log” that it is failing as expected.

After curl command execution few other lines were present which modifies the error code.
