vmctrl process is crashing after enabling vm-7 image

Symptom
- Enable vm-7 image to use the Windows 10 environment for file analysis on Wildfire/
- vmctrl process starts crashing.
admin@WILDFIRE> show system software status | match vmctrl
Process vmctrl_01 stopped (pid: -1) - Exit Code: 125
Process vmctrl_02 stopped (pid: -1) - Exit Code: 125
Process vmctrl_03 stopped (pid: -1) - Exit Code: 125
Environment
- Wildfire with vm-7 image to use the Windows 10 environment
- File analysis
- Wildfire OS 10.1.X, 10.2.X
Cause
Missing VM image file.
Resolution
- Before vm-7 is enabled, it is mandatory to download windows VM image file from Support portal:
- For PanOS 10.1.X : WFWin10Base_m-1.0.0-c2.10base
- For PanOS 10.2.2 or higher: WFWin10Base_m-1.0.1.10base
