Software NGFW Flex – Deployment Profile Name Limitations

1. Why must the name used for a deployment profile be unique?
2. Can a Deployment Profile name be modified after it has been created?

Answer
1. Per Development team, the name used for a deployment profile must be unique in our system - not just within the customer's Support Portal Account.
- When creating the deployment profile name and gets the response that name is already in use, it means that another customer is using that same name or name withing the account is already used..
- Also if the customer deletes a profile, they will not be allowed to use that same name again.
Example: if you want to use "Bob's Profile" and it is already in use, you can change it to maybe "Bob1 Profile" etc.
2. As per system design, Deployment Profile names are unique and cannot be modified once created.
