Operation failed when configuring log forwarding profile with Auto-Tagging to Panorama User-ID

Symptom
- Configuring Log forwarding profile with Auto-Tagging to Panorama User-ID under Shared Hierarchy of Device Group.
- When Clicking "OK", "Operation failed" message with the error "tagging -> registration is invalid" is seen
GUI: Panorama (Device Group) > Objects > Log Forwarding > (log forwarding profile)
Environment
- Panorama appliances.
- PAN-OS 9.1 and above.
- Auto-Tagging
Cause
Log forwarding profile configured under Shared Hierarchy.
Resolution
- Create new log forwarding profile under device group (leaving the Shared box unchecked)
- Then configure Auto-Tagging to Panorama User-ID.
GUI: Panorama (Device Group) > Objects > Log Forwarding > Add

Target User-ID agent for Auto-Tagging is configured under: Objects > Log Forwarding > Log Forwarding Profile > Match List > Built-in Actions > Registration.
