Symptom

Out of two disks, sdc shows status as unavailable, and reasons admin disabled

admin@Panorama> show system disk details

Environment

Panorama VM in Panorama mode
PAN-OS 10.1 and above

Cause

When attaching a virtual logging disk to the Panorama virtual appliance instance, Manual configuration of each disk is needed.

Resolution

Run the CLI command (Step 5c) listed on the Panorama and confirm the request when prompted for all disks with the Reason: Admin disabled response:

>request system disk add sdc

Enter the "show system disk details" command to verify the status of the disk addition.
Proceed with the next steps listed in the Panorama administrator Guide.
