• Prisma Cloud Compute

• The Scan starts from the time you make changes to the Scan settings. 
• For example, if you implemented the changes at 17:00 UTC for every 24 hours, then Prisma Cloud will automatically scan your environment at 17:00 UTC daily.

• Currently, you can only configure the frequency of subsequent periodic scans (in hours between scans) : Configure Scan Intervals

GUI Path: under Manage > System > Scan

• At this time, there is no ability to have scan scheduling at specific times under Manage > System > Scan.
• Moving forward, there is an existing Feature Request for the same, with no ETA at this time : Scan Scheduling Define Time
• Similarly, Registry scans kick off every time you configure and save a scan config.
• From that time forward, the scan repeats every (n) number of hours. The scan's actual time resets every time any adjustment to the config is committed.
• Other existing Feature Requests (related to scanning) with no ETA at this time include Registry Scan Schedules and Self-hosted Compute - Explicitly scheduled registry scans

Note: The range of values for the scan (in hours) is: 1 - 24000 (hours between scans) while 0 implies disabling scanning.
