Objective


Help customers resolve Google Authenticator Code during phone change or even after MFA reset.

Environment


Google Authenticator App

Procedure


Google Authenticator app’s time settings to be in  Sync with the phone time.

For Google Authenticator App > Launch the app, tap the menu button (the three dots at the top right of the screen), and go to Settings > Time Correction for Codes > Sync now.


 

After the above procedure, the phone needs to be restarted.



Additional Information


Syncing the time in the Google Authenticator app won't affect the time setting on your phone.
