Prisma Cloud: There is no test alert sent in AWS Security Hub when configuring the Integration

Symptom


Users can see some real alerts in AWS Security Hub, however, they can't find a test alert sent from the integration set up.

GUI Path: Settings > Integrations & Notifications > Add Integration > AWS Security Hub

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud 
  • Alert
  • AWS Security HUB

Cause


The test alert wouldn't be displayed on AWS security hub side.
This behavior is expected, not a bug. 

Resolution


In case you got the "Successfully sent alert test" message after running the test alert, the setting works correctly.

GUI Path: Settings > Integrations & Notifications > Add Integration > AWS Security Hub
