Symptom


  • Panorama transitioned to "Non-functional" state
  • High Disk space utilization in the root Partition seen (in this case around 99%)
  • The root partition does not clear space despite the efforts to delete old logs and core files.

  • Palo Alto Panorama device
  • PANOS-10.2.2-hx, 10.2.3
  • High Availability (HA)


Cause


This is due to a software issue.



Resolution


  1. The issue is resolved under PAN-210366 in PAN-OS 10.2.4-h3
  2. Upgrade to the preferred release of 10.2.x will resolve the issue.
