Why are pip3 installed packages not detected in the host scan report?

  • Prisma Cloud Compute SaaS version
  • Prisma Cloud Compute Self-hosted version 21.08 and above

Answer


Packages using pip3 are considered third-party packages. Third-party packages are skipped during the host scan to optimize performance, this behavior is by design.
