SNMP check failed: hrDeviceProcessor (Slot-1 Data Processor) has status down

Symptom


  • If the customer has upgraded the code version on the firewall from 10.1.x to 10.1.9 or 10.2.x to 10.2.4.
  • There is no alert in the firewall's system log.
  • The customer executed the command listed below on the Linux system.
snmpwalk output
  • The firewall responds with the SNMP value INTEGER: down(5).

PAN-OS 10.1.9 , 10.2.4 - All.

Cause


This caused due to an Issue PAN-218252
 

Resolution


PAN-218252 has been fixed in the following versions.

Fix Version/s:
11.1.0, 11.0.3, 10.2.5, 10.1.11, 10.1.10-h1
