Prisma Cloud Compute: How to integrate Jira in Prisma Cloud Compute for Vulnerability and Runtime Alerts

Objective


The objective of this Article is to help users to setup Jira correctly on Prisma Compute Console. This Article will help user to avoid unauthorized error on Jira Setup.
Please refer to the following screenshot:

GUI Path: Runtime Security / Compute  >> Manage >> Alerts >> Add Profile >> Choose Jira as Provider 

 
 
 


Environment


  • Prisma Cloud Compute Self-Hosted Console 
  • Prisma Cloud Compute SAAS Console


Procedure


  1. Create a Jira Auth token by visiting Atlassian Web URL here 
  2. Go to Runtime Security / Compute >> Manage >> Authentication >> Credential Store >> Click Add Credential
  3. Choose Basic Authentication
  4. Username: It should be your email address for the Jira User
  5. Password: It should be your Api Token >> created under same User in Jira
    1. Please make sure API Token should be created under same user in Jira otherwise you will get an unauthorized error
  6. Now try to Send Test Alert
