PanGPS Service is not running/missing in Windows

Symptom
- PanGPS service on windows is not starting.
- CLI command netstat -an | find "4767" shows syn sent status and the GPA failed to connect to PanGPS.
- The process PanGPS service is not visible in Task Manager >Services.
Environment
- GlobalProtect (GP) App on Windows
- App version 6.2.1
Resolution
- Run "sc query PanGPS" on the client machine to verify the status of PanGPS service.
- If you service is not running, Open the command prompt as an administrator and run the following commands.
> cd "C:\Program Files\Palo Alto Networks\GlobalProtect"
> PanGPS.exe -commit
- This command will install the PanGPS service in windows services.
