Question

Is it possible to offboard a cloud tenant (e.g Prisma Access, Cortex XDR ) ?

Environment

Cortex XDR

Answer

Yes, offboarding the tenant  means all configuration and settings of the tenant are deleted permanently and cannot  be recovered. You will have to provision tenant from scratch.

You must provide  an official letter on the company header  that should contain business justification  and the approval to off board the  tenant .

Once the letter is obtained:     open admin support case via your Customer support portal:

Any off boarding request is a subject  of approval or rejection by the  internal Palo Alto Networks  operations team

Additional Information

You can remove/ delete TSG from your end via Hub .

You can delete it only if the tenant meets the following criteria:
  • No activated products, which can be seen from Tenants.
  • No child tenants, which can be seen from Tenants.
  • No licenses allocated or claimed, which can be seen from Subscriptions & Add-ons.
