Symptom


When password includes a space anywhere, domain credential filter phishing will not work.

Environment


  • Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Supported PAN-OS
  • Credential phishing detection

Cause


Any space in the password is not supported. Example  password"Pal0@lto Pal0@lto", which has a space cannot be used.

Resolution


  1. Currently PaloAlto Credential phishing detection , does not support space between the characters .
  2. The solution is not to use space in the password.
