How to get the policy ID from Strata Cloud Manager

Objective


Get policy ID

Environment


  • Strata Cloud Manager
  • Data Security
  • SaaS Security

Procedure


  1. Go to Data Security.
  2. Go to Policies tab (https://cloud.apps.paloaltonetworks.com/manage/saas-security/policies/data-asset-rules?status=active)
  3. Enable Dev Tools browser.
  4. Click on the desired policy.
  5. Search for the request which has the same name as first request but with bracket icon (brackets icon or the GET request method with the same name of first request) and on right side, click on "Response"Select the policy id
  6. Data policy ID will be the field "id". Copy paste into the support case descriptionNote the id of the policy from the Response tab
