Symptom


Below is one of the occurrence 

• Validation Error:
• application-status -> amazon-luna 'amazon-luna' is already in use
• application-status is invalid
• Commit failed

Environment


PAN-OS 8.1 or later 

Cause


Enabling the option " Disable new apps in content update " will cause this issue

Resolution


Disabling the option " Disable new apps in content update " will resolve the issue

Additional Information


The following must be checked before disabling the feature 

- Check if the content version is up to date 
- Check if the content version on the firewall matches to that on the Panorama
