Can an Azure firewall be moved to a different Multi-Availability Zone? 

Environment


  • Palo Alto VM Firewall
  • PANOS-10.2.3
  • Azure Platform

Answer


  1. Yes, Azure firewall be move in different Multi Availability Zone
  2. The way to move is to deactivate the VM and rebuild it in the new Availability Zone.
