Symptom
After migrating to Strata Cloud Manager , the initial commit fails with error "Partial commit is not allowed. Full commit must be completed.".
Environment
- Prisma Access Strata Cloud Manager
- Initial Commit
Cause
- Editing the push scope allows you to push targeted configuration changes to some or all of your firewalls on Strata Cloud Manager.
- The Admin scope selects the current user, and the folder hierarchy is chosen for push without the user's awareness.
- This unintentionally leads to a Partial Push, resulting in a commit failure with the error.
Resolution
- After starting the use the new Cloud Managed UI (Strata Cloud Manager), select Admin Scope as "All Admins" and commit during the initial commit.
