Symptom

  • An administrator is trying to create ZTNA connector for the first time which fails with the error as below.
  • The ZTNA Connectors Connector IP Blocks are already configured on the cloud manager.
pool allocation failure

Environment

  • Prisma Access managed by Strata Cloud manager
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Connectors

Cause

  • As the error message states, the connector IP blocks are not yet setup in the backend.
  • This is happening because the user has not done push (equivalent to Commit & Push in panorama) for the Service connection.
  • The ZTNA connector requires the push to be done on the service connection as well which will update the connector IP blocks in the backend for ZTNA creation.

Resolution

  1. Perform a push for all the scopes or Service connection at least.
  2. Once push is complete, follow the usual steps to continue creation of the ZTNA.
  3. Commit scope
