Objective
How to resolve error message "In order to store your contact information needed for case creation, please update your profile" when logging into the Customer Support Portal.
Environment
Customer Support Portal.
Procedure
When logging into the Customer Support Portal, if you login and receive the below error message please check the following:
- Check that a contact number has been provided.
- Check that the full address details have been provided (Including country and region/state).
- Edit the display name, the display name needs to be unique and if this is already being used by another user this will need to be amended. (Example, display name currently is JohnSmith, if the error message states the display name is already being used trying updating to JohnSmith123).
