Symptom


Firewall was configured for SNMP v2c polling but does not respond to snmp polls/walk.

Environment


PANOS-10.2.10, PA-3420

Cause


Special characters in the community string might cause this issue.

Resolution


To resolve such issues, we can configure a simple alphanumeric string to test.

Additional Information


Characters such as "$" is known to cause some issues.
