Scheduled SaaS Application Usage reports are wrongly generated with unexpected date and duration

Symptom


  • Scheduled SaaS Application Usage reports are not generated properly.
  • Here are some concerns seen in the generated pdf files
    • Start/End date is the day of 2015.
    • "REPORT PERIOD 0 Days" is displayed in the footer of each page though "Last 30 days" is designated.
    • "No data to display" is indicated in each section of the report.

Environment


  • Panorama
  • PAN-OS 11.1.5 - 11.1.7, 11.2.5

Cause


Software Issue.

Resolution


  1. Upgrade the software to the version in which the fix for PAN-269291 and PAN-277147 is integrated.
  2. The version to be upgraded is 11.1.8 or higher and 11.2.8 (pending release) or higher.

Additional Information


The proper SaaS Application Usage reports can be generated manually by "Run Now" of each report definition.
