CLI command "show auth radius-require-msg-authentic" returns empty output

Symptom


  • Confirmation command "show auth radius-require-msg-authentic" returns no output
  • This happens regardless of the setting configured.
user@PA-5250> show auth radius-require-msg-authentic
user@PA-5250>

Environment


  • Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
  • PAN-OS: prior 10.2.15, 11.1.8 or 11.2.8

Cause


Software Issue.

 

Resolution


  1. The issue is being resolved under PAN-261429.
  2. Current the fix is targeted under 10.2.15, 11.1.8 and 11.2.8 versions.
  3. As a workaround,  use the following CLI command.
user@PA-5250> show system state filter cfg.auth.radius-require-msg-authentic
cfg.auth.radius-require-msg-authentic: True
