Dailed authentication for user '__openconfig'. Reason: Invalid username/password

• During Commit, authentication error messages are seen for user __openconfig.
• Commit itself is successful.
• Message signature is has "failed authentication for user '__openconfig'. Reason: Invalid username/password"
• The issue started after recent PAN-OS upgrade.

• Any Panorama
• Supported PAN-OS
• Upgrade
• Openconfig plugin installed

Openconfig plugin is installed but not configured.

Uninstall the openconfig plugin using steps below

1. Go to the Panorama tab.
2. Go to the Plugins section in the left column.
3. Filter for openconfig.
4. click on "Remove config".
5. click on  "Uninstall".

Now when executing commits, the authentication failures should no longer occur
