Global Protect connection request message appears after Android OS upgrade
Symptom
• GlobalProtect app automatically launches after OS upgrade but prompts for VPN connection acceptance
• The message "Connection request: GlobalProtect wants to set up a VPN connection that allows it to monitor network traffic. Only accept if you trust the source" appears
• VPN connection is successful after acceptance
• The message does not appear again until after another OS upgrade
• Behavior is specific to Motorola devices and not observed on Samsung devices

Cause
The root cause is a conflict between the Motorola operating system's upgrade process and the GlobalProtect app's VPN configuration. Specifically, the virtual adapter for the VPN seems to be removed from the device after the OS upgrade. This leads to the setup prompt as the GlobalProtect app needs to re-configure the VPN adapter.
Resolution
1. Contact Motorola to investigate and address the conflict between the Motorola OS upgrade and the GlobalProtect app
