What is the recommended maximum configuration file size for GEN 3 (PA-800, PA-3200, PA-5200, PA-7000)?

Answer
- The recommended maximum configuration file size for GEN 3 platforms are as below.
- While 30 MB is the recommended size, PAN-OS 10.2.x defaults to 23 MB on PA-800 series devices.
- To increase this size on PA-800 series, use the the following command.
debug management-server max-config-size set size <1-500> >>>> set it to the recommended value.
debug management-server max-config-size show >>> this command displays the config size.
Example:
admin@PA-850> debug management-server max-config-size set size 30
Changed the value of max-config-size from 24117248 to 31457280
admin@PA-850> debug management-server max-config-size show
Max config size(Bytes):31457280
Additional Information
Note: The default config size on PA-800 Series has been increased to 30MB under PAN-281721. The versions which support the 30MB memory are listed below.
