BGP Lan Peer flaps if Backup ION is connected

• The IONs in the branch site has HA configuration.
• The BGP peer on lan port keeps flapping when the backup device is connected.

• Prisma SD-WAN
• ION devices
• HA (High Availability)

• Configuration issue due to L3/L2 mode mismatches on the ION devices.
• Active device is in L3 mode, while the backup device is in L2 mode.

Enable the following L3 modes on backup device to resolve the issue.

1. Enable L3 Direct Private WAN Forwarding.
2. Enable L3 LAN Forwarding.
