Prisma Cloud Compute: How to enable Bulk Actions-> Agentless Configuration under Manage-> Cloud accounts

Objective


This article explains how to enable Bulk Actions-> Agentless Configuration under Manage-> Cloud accounts



Environment


  • Prisma Cloud Compute Edition
  • Prisma Cloud Enterprise Edition


Procedure


For the bulk actions-agentless configuration to be enabled, the following criteria needs to be fulfilled:

  1. Same Provider: Accounts should have same provider (In the filter bar select filter "Provider:<your-provider>") 
  2. Same Authentication Method: The accounts should have the same authentication method, meaning they should either be onboarded from CSPM or CWPP. For this, you should use the "Account Origin" filter (In the filter bar select filter "Account origin:<Compute/Prisma Auto-Imported>")
  3. Scanning Mode: The accounts should have the same scanning mode (In the filter bar select filter "Scan mode: Same account/Scanned by Hub") 
  4. Agentless Scan: Agentless scan should be On (In the filter bar select filter "Agentless Scan: On")

After applying correct filters, you should be able to see the agentless Configuration setting enabled.

 



Additional Information


  • After selecting above 4 filters, you might still not see the agentless configuration being enabled.
  • The reason being, currently, there is an issue with correctly filtering cloud accounts when all the above filters are applied together.
  • Once this is resolved: the bulk actions option should be enabled
