Prisma Cloud: How to attach notification templates to alert rules

Objective


Attach notification templates to alert rules to receive alerts on external notification channels.

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud Cloud Security
  • Alert rules

Procedure


  1. To attach a notification template on an alert rule, create or edit an alert rule and enable the option Alert Notifications under Add Details.

GUI Path: Alerts > View Alert Rules > Add Alert Rule > Add Alert Details > Toggle ON Alert Notifications

  1. Once enabled the option Configure notifications will appear on the left side panel.

GUI Path: Alerts > View Alert Rules > Add Alert Rule > Add Alert Details > Configure Notifications

  1. Select the configured integration, toggle the enable option and attach the created Notification template.

GUI Path: Alerts > View Alert Rules > Add Alert Rule > Add Alert Details > Toggle ON to enable
